Legendary Windsor Locks coach Dan Sullivan has passed away


Dan Sullivan, the legendary coach at Windsor Locks High School, who led Raider teams to seven state championships in boys soccer and baseball, passed away Monday at the age of 83.

Sullivan, who graduated from Suffield High in 1953, won a national championship with the Springfield College men’s soccer team in 1957 before graduating and coaching for 39 years at Windsor Locks. He was awarded a Gold Key in 1994.

Condolences to his family and friends and all of the students that he helped throughout the years.
