SPJ awards Excellence in Journalism awards for 2013
The Connecticut chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) held its annual 2013 awards banquet on Thursday night. Below are the winners in sports, including the Alliance's own Ken Lipshez of the Record Journal in Meriden, who took home three awards including a first place in the sports column category.
