Lytle and Maher named Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance Coaches of the Year
Hillhouse High football coach Reggie Lytle and Cromwell High girls basketball coach Kelly Maher have been selected as the Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance Doc McInerney High School Coaches of the Year. They will be honored at the 76th Gold Key Dinner on April 30 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.

Gold Key winner Wally Camp of Coginchaug dies at the age of 87
Wally Camp, the long-time basketball coach and athletic director at Coginchaug Regional in Durham, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the age of 87. Camp was awarded a Gold Key by the Connecticut Sports Writers Alliance in 1991. A graduate of West Haven High, Camp went to Southern Connecticut State, where he played basketball. Six to receive John Wentworth Good Sports Award from Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance
The Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance has announced the six 2017 John Wentworth Good Sports Award winners.
